The runner’s expo, which will feature 30 stands open from 10 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm

Participants can pick up their race bibs from 10 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm, except on Friday when it will be possible until 6 pm

Tomorrow, Wednesday, the El Gigante Vertical Kilometer will take place starting at 3:30 pm in the Agaete Valley

The North Face Transgrancanaria will have its focal point at ExpoMeloneras, where the Trail Zone will be open from this Tuesday, and participants can collect their bibs for the various races. This afternoon, the 4,000 square meters of space where visitors can explore the latest products and services in the mountain racing sector were inaugurated.

As Wendy Cruz, marketing director of The North Face Transgrancanaria, explains, the runner’s fair will feature stands where official race merchandise can be purchased, as well as the latest products from The North Face.

Likewise, there will be stands showcasing products from Arista, Petzl, 226ERS, Coros, Canary Athletes, Otso Sport, Joma, Tamadaba Sport, North Trail, Garmin, Podoks, Runize, Macaronesian People, and Befree.

Additionally, visitors can learn about other sporting events such as the 360º The Challenge Gran Canaria, Fred.Olsen Express Transgrancanaria Bike, the World Trail Majors race circuit, Madeira Island Ultra Trail – MIUT, Breña Alta Trail, Famara Total, Yaiza Extremo Sur, the 2-Day Ibiza Trail, or the 3-Day Trebol Trail.

Furthermore, visitors can discover brands like Aguas de Teror, Gran Canaria Tourism, and City Sigthseeing Las Palmas de Gran Canaria along with other sports tourism destinations such as Menorca Tourism or Altair Destinations.

All set for the El Gigante Vertical Kilometer

Tomorrow, Wednesday, the first of The North Face Transgrancanaria events will take place, the El Gigante Vertical Kilometer starting at 3:30 pm in the Agaete Valley with the finish line in Tamadaba. Those participating in this race can pick up their bibs from 12:30 pm in the Agaete Valley.

The North Face Transgrancanaria is an event organized by Arista Eventos to be held between February 21 and 25 this year. It is sponsored by the Gran Canaria Island Council, through Gran Canaria Tourism and the Insular Sports Institute; the Canary Islands Government with Islas Canarias Latitud de Vida; Maspalomas Costa Canaria; the Municipal Sports Institute of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria; and the Tejeda City Council. It also has the support of companies like The North Face, San Roque University Hospitals, Fred. Olsen Express, 226ERS, Sonocom Audiovisuals, Lopesan Hotel Group, Expomeloneras, and Aguas de Teror.
