The organization will offer a ‘flash’ period for those who register within the first 48 hours
The event will soon announce new features in the start points and routes for the different distances
Save the date: Registrations for The North Face Transgrancanaria 2025, which will take place from February 19 to 23, will open on July 3. Starting at 12:00 PM, and for the second consecutive year, Arista Eventos, the race organizing company, will open a flash period on the website www.transgrancanaria.net with a reduced price for those who sign up within the first 48 hours.
The registration prices will be divided into three periods. The first period, during the first 48 hours, will have a special promotion with significant discounts on all races. Starting at 12:00 PM on July 5, the second period will begin with a reduced price that will last until October 10. After this date, the registration will have the regular price.
Additionally, residents of the Canary Islands will receive an extra discount, as usual, to encourage the practice of trail running among the local population. With this pricing system, a Canarian runner can sign up during the first 48 hours for the Classic modality at a price of 120 euros, 95 for the Advanced, 55 for the Marathon, 30 euros for the Starter, which will be renamed Half in 2025, or 20 euros for the Promo, the Vertical Kilometer, and the Family.
This next edition, the 26th in the 22 years the race has been held, will maintain the format of the last two editions. After the spectacular start on February 19 in the Agaete Valley with the El Gigante Vertical Kilometer, the focus of the race will move to the heart of the island on Thursday, February 20, for the Half and Promo races. On Friday, February 21, the longest races of the competition will begin, with the Marathon in the morning from the summit and the main event, the Classic, which is part of the international Gran Canaria World Trail Majors circuit, starting at midnight from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. On Saturday, February 22, the Advanced race will start early in the morning, and by the afternoon, the winners of the two longest races will be known.
This year, there will be new features in both the start points of the races and the routes, which the organization will announce soon. As in recent years, in addition to the races for experienced runners, The North Face Transgrancanaria continues its commitment to offering special races in the Family and Kids categories.
