The Half modality, one of the most spectacular races in the Canary Islands, gathered more than 1,000 runners. The challenging course and the level of the participants made this race a real spectacle. Already from the start in Tunte, the scenery was ideal for an intense morning of trail running through the Camino de La Plata. The Swiss runner of the Hoka team, Judith Wyder, dominated the race with a time close to two hours: 02:01:11. Wyder thus completed a double after yesterday’s victory in the KV Vertical El Gigante. After her, the Spaniards Marta Martínez (La Sportiva) and Naira Irigoyen (Open Team) completed the leading trio in the women’s category. Likewise, Antonio Martínez (Asics) won the 21-kilometer race for the second consecutive year, reducing by almost 10 minutes his time of the last edition. After him, Alain Santamaría was the next to cross the finish line. The Open Team runner was also runner-up in yesterday’s KV El Gigante. Another Spanish athlete, Adrián Ivars, completed the podium of the race.
