The North Face Transgrancanaria is taking a major step forward in its audiovisual production this year with over 25 hours of live broadcasting across four days. The coverage, produced entirely by Arista Eventos, will allow fans worldwide to follow the race’s most thrilling moments via the official YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@transgrancanaria102).

The broadcast begins next Wednesday, March 4th, with one of this edition’s highlights: the premiere of the El Gigante Vertical Kilometer, the first time this spectacular discipline will be aired live. The stream starts at 15:15 with the staggered start from El Valle de Agaete and will run until 17:30, covering the finish line at the Tamadaba Recreational Area.

Thursday features another key addition, the Half, which will be broadcast live for the first time from 08:30 to 11:30. This year, participants will start in Santa Lucía, passing through Tunte, La Plata, El Garañón, and finally Tejeda, which once again hosts the finish line.

The mountain village of Tejeda returns to the spotlight on Friday for the Marathon start. The broadcast begins at 09:00 and will last over six hours. That same night, the magic of the Classic start takes center stage at 23:15, connecting live from Las Canteras beach for the midnight start of the 125km race across the island to Parque Sur, Maspalomas. Coverage concludes Saturday from 07:30 to 15:30, following the climax of the flagship race.

Extensive Technical Deployment The production features over 40 cameras, including runner-cams, bike-cams, drones, and fixed points at iconic locations like Paso de La Plata and Roque Nublo, offering spectacular views of the landscape and the competition.

The broadcast will be available in Spanish and English. Dani Sanabria and Albert Jorquera will host the Spanish stream, while Mauri Pagliacci leads the English commentary. On the ground, Jéssica Trujillo and Déborah Sabina will bring viewers the atmosphere and reactions from key points along the route.

The 27th edition, part of the World Trail Majors, features a historic elite field of over 160 runners, including 2025 winner Henriette Albon, Tom Evans, Claudia Tremps, Jonathan Albon, Ida Nilsson, Josh Wade, Sunmaya Budha, Hayden Hawks, and Hannes Namberger (Classic); Varvara Shikanova, Anton Gustafsson, and Stephanie Howe (Advanced); Nuria Gil, Bartlomiej Przedwojewski, and Antonio Martínez (Marathon); Alain Santamaría and Inés Astrain (Half); and Henri Aymonod and Fernanda Maciel (Vertical Kilometer).
