The French headlamp brand extends its partnership as Official Technical Partner for two more years
Petzl and The North Face Transgrancanaria announce the renewal of their collaboration agreement until 2027. This alliance, which began in February 2023, has become a fundamental pillar for one of the most iconic trail running events on the international circuit.
As the Lighting Technical Partner, Petzl continues to provide its industry-leading expertise in lighting solutions to ensure athlete safety and performance. Their role is crucial during the demanding night sections of the race, where visibility is a determining factor for the runners’ success.

Record Figures for the 27th Edition The next edition of The North Face Transgrancanaria will once again break records with over 6,000 runners from 70 nationalities. From March 4 to 8, the event will feature eight modalities, starting on Wednesday with the spectacular KV El Gigante in the Agaete Valley.
The North Face Transgrancanaria is organized by Arista Eventos and is sponsored by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria (through Gran Canaria Tourism and the Insular Sports Institute); the Government of the Canary Islands with “Islas Canarias Latitud de Vida”; the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council through the Municipal Sports Institute; and the Town Halls of Teror and Tejeda. Furthermore, it is supported by companies such as The North Face, Hospitales Universitarios San Roque, Lopesan Hotel Group, ExpoMeloneras, 226ERS, Fred.
