HALF 21 KM
The Transgrancanaria Half takes runners to discover the astonishing south face of Gran Canaria. Starting in the small village of Tunte, trail runners will begin with one of the most beautiful climbs in the Archipelago: the La Plata trail.
Runners will enjoy a thrilling descent that will first take them through the La Culata neighborhood and then to Tejeda, where the finish line of one of the races will be located. Despite its short distance, it is one of the most spectacular races in the Canary Islands

The cut-off time refers to the maximum time to get out from the checkpoint. In other words, participants must leave the aid station in question before the time published as the cut-off time in order to continue in the competition. Otherwise, you would be disqualified for being out of race time.

External assistance
External assistance will only be allowed at the aid station of El Garañón.
It won’t be allowed in the aid station of La Culata.
Mandatory equipment
The organization determines the mandatory equipment needed to complete the race. To participate in the race every athlete must carry along the entire route the compulsory material according to their chosen race:
The COLD KIT will be part of the mandatory equipment. 2 days before the race, according to the weather forecast, the organization will communicate the decision to keep it or remove it (totally or partially) from the mandatory equipment list for the race.
- Hot gloves (COLD KIT*)
- Windproof trousers (COLD KIT*)
- Thermal T-shirt (COLD KIT*)
- Long thermal pants (COLD KIT*)
- Race bib
- ID, passport or driving license (with photo)
- Emergency blanket (minimum 100 cm x 200 cm)
- Mobile phone (must be operative in Spain) with enough credit and properly charged battery
- Water containers (you can add up several containers): 1 liter
- Useful deposit for drinking at the aid stations (if the runner already carries a water container in a soft flask format, this will not be needed)
- Breathable waterproof jacket
- Cap, bandana, or similar
