Along with the Marathon and the Promo, it is the third event to run out of places in less than a month

More than 4,200 participants confirmed with seven months to go until The North Face Transgrancanaria 2025

On the first week of July, The North Face Transgrancanaria 2025 opened the registration process for its twenty-sixth edition, and three modalities have already filled their places for runners, while the rest of them are very close to closing them as well.

The Marathon sold out its bib numbers during the first 72 hours, then it was the Promo, which took just three weeks, with a notable female participation, given that more than 52% of people registered are women. The 12-kilometer race also closed now its waiting list today to ensure an optimal experience for all those registered.

Now it is the turn of the Half –previously called Starter– which with more than 880 registered runners, sells out its bibs in less than 30 days. The 21-kilometer race, which will start from the small town of Tunte, has draw attention to athletes from 47 countries, such as Australia, Canada, Japan and a significant number of South American countries. In addition, more than half of the runners come from outside the Canary Islands. Nobody wants to miss one of the most spectacular races in the Archipelago with the beautiful climb of the Camino de La Plata, its passage through the La Culata neighbourhood and the finish line in one of the most beautiful towns in Spain, Tejeda. The waiting list for the Half race remains open to fill possible vacancies.

Right now, more than 4,200 participants from 68 countries have already registered for the eight modalities of The North Face Transgrancanaria 2025.

Registration is still open for the rest of the events, although places are almost sold out for several of them. Interested athletes still have a discount that will be valid until October 10. The additional discount for runners residing in the Canary Islands is also still active.

The North Face Transgrancanaria is a race organized by Arista Eventos that is sponsored by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria institutions, through Turismo de Gran Canaria and the Insular Sports Institute; the Government of the Canary Islands with the Canary Islands Latitude of Life; Maspalomas Costa Canaria; the Municipal Sports Institute of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria; the Teror City Council and the Tejeda City Council. In addition, it has the support of prívate companies as The North Face, San Roque University Hospitals, and Fred. Olsen Express, 226ERS, Sonocom Audiovisuales, Lopesan Hotel Group, ExpoMeloneras and Aguas de Teror.
